Problem:
When I used Yanhua Mini ACDP/ACDP2 with Module 38 to add new key to BMW G chassis BDC2 module, the vehicle info identified are shown below:
- System version: unkn_00000000_000.000.000
- System status: Abnormal
- Coding status: Lost
- Whether support IMMO: Need update
What is the problem? How to solve it?
Possible causes:
The device power outage, disconnection or other anomalies occur during obtaining keys data.
The solution:
Use the “Programming restore system” function to restore functionality.
Repair Process
Connect ACDP2/ACDP, Module 38 ICP Interface Board and BDC2 module correctly
Select “Programming Restore System”
Choose “Step 2: Update BDC2 System”
System auto-detects: original version (e.g., 108.020.020)
Critical Requirements:
- Stable internet connection
- Uninterrupted power supply
Progress screen appears
DO NOT disconnect during this phase
Click OK to proceed
Select “Step 3: Write Coding Data”
Verify coding.bin file’s timestamp and VIN info
Confirm successful write
Finally, identify vehicle info. again
Check system & coding status
Normal display = Repair complete
